Meditation for Prosperity and Abundance? To be honest, that connection had never even occurred to me until fairly recently, or else I would have started to meditate much sooner. For years, people told me I should meditate. I tried it a few times, but it just wasn’t my thing. It felt boring. And I failed to see the point. I also may have had exaggerated expectations of what it would feel like to meditate. I guess I thought it would be much like hypnosis, of which I had exaggerated expectations as well. Any of my attempts at either of the two techniques just didn’t come close to what I had expected, which was a state of blissed-out oblivion. So I figured it didn’t work. Either that, or it just didn’t work for me. Fast-forward quite a few years… I was listening to an Abraham-Hicks CD when Abraham suddenly spoke of “allowing.” All the prosperity and abundance would be mine if only I could refrain from pushing it away. I had first encountered the term “allowing” during an advanced Quantum Touch workshop and felt at a loss. Allow? How? What exactly was I supposed to do? This had been very frustrating because it appeared to be a key part of the process. Since then, I had also come across it when reading about manifestation. And that left me even more frustrated. How am I supposed to manifest prosperity and abundance when I don’t know how to allow? So when Abraham brought up allowing, I sat there poised to take notes. Maybe I would finally learn what it meant and how to do it. And I did! Abraham explained that allowing was basically the absence of resistance, something that was actually not easy to accomplish! Aha! I thought. So it wasn’t just me. What came next really got my attention, though: The most effective way to “allow” was to meditate, Abraham said. Meditate, I thought? Not again! But this was different. Meditation according to Abraham was basically being in a relaxed position and thinking of nothing (much). The best part:10 minutes would be enough. Now that I could do! I practically ran to my bedroom, lay down, closed my eyes, and tried to think of nothing. Okay, so that didn’t work too well. But I could think of colors. Just one after the other, focusing on imagining myself surrounded by them. Before I knew it, the 10 minutes were up. I did it again the next day and the next, and every day since. Well, nearly every day. And the most amazing things started happening almost immediately. Only two days later, seemingly out of the blue, I came across an opportunity that ended up helping my cash-flow significantly. And only a day after that, I found a flier where someone was looking for help with a project of the very kind I wanted to get some experience with but didn’t think I’d ever get the opportunity because I had no experience. Yet I called, and the project was mine, and it worked out great. Now I have to admit that things don’t flow quite as dramatically every day, but they do go a lot better on the days I meditate. And when I’ve slacked off for a little while, I can really tell the difference. In fact, it’s been a few days – I can’t imagine how I could have gotten side-tracked like that (must have been the holidays), and it’s high time to get back to my daily practice. So if you’ll excuse me, please. I’ve got to go lie down right now and meditate.

What You Should Know About Sleepwalking
There are some people who have problems with their sleep. Some have insomnia, narcolepsy, snoring, and some other have sleepwalking which is also known as somnambulism and noctambulism. Sleepwalking, although it is not always harmless, it can also be very dangerous. Sleepwalkers walk in their sleep. Or, they even do other actions as if they are awake such as taking a shower, eating. And, sometimes they can get out of the house. This is the dangerous part, especially because they cannot control their actions. Some sleepwalkers might also carry a knife or worst, walk in the nude. If you see someone walking on his/her sleep, you’d better take him/her back to bed or wake him/her up gently. Most sleepwalkers would not remember what they did while sleeping. So, it would be wise not to make fun of them after they wake up. What actually is the cause of this sleeping disorder? In children, sleepwalking might be a result of fatigue, prior sleep loss, or anxiety. In adults, it is normally related to over tiredness, mind disorder, reactions to drugs and alcohol, or certain medical conditions. In aged people, it could be a symptom of REM (Rapid Eye Movement) behavior disorders or an organic brain syndrome. It may also be genetic. Sleepwalking parents often have sleepwalking kids. Here are some tips that you can try to avoid sleepwalking: • Relax at bedtime by listening to soft music or relaxation tapes. Since one of the causes of sleepwalking is stress, it would be best for sleepwalker to try to get as relaxed as possible before going to bed. • Have a regular sleep schedule and stick to it. Regular sleeping helps sleepwalker learn the rhythm of sleep. This can help preventing them from walking on their sleep. • Make sure there is no noise that might sound annoying to you while you try to close your eyes. . • Avoid alcohol or drugs before going to bed for those are also causes of sleepwalking. It has been projected that 10 percent of all people will experience sleep walking at some time in their life! So, make sure that you are not one of those 10 percent by trying those above tips.
Disolve Your Problems With Hypnosis
As a hypnotherapist, I have always found that one key element in making my free hypnosis induction scripts sound great when they are delivered is the quality of the background music. It can really set the theme of relaxation, and even if after seeing a client, I use a different hypnosis script, the music will still be the same. This reminds the mind of the hypnotic patient of what it is expected to do- that is, it is time to relax. Our free hypnosis induction scripts have now been recorded and added to our website. There is some wonderful royalty free relaxation music in the background and the voice that you hear on the audio, is Gemma Bailey, qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP trainer. The audios can be downloaded and saved to your computer. This means that you can use them at any time that suits you, by either listening on your computer or by adding the file to you I-pod or MP3 player. You could even request the file on CD or if it is easier for you to do so, you can burn the audio onto CD yourself. The quality of the audio’s is quite simply fully professional. You can buy the audio scripts and see what is included in them. And if the audio you require is not listed, simply contact the team and they will put together the hypnosis induction script of your choice. Obviously when listening to a hypnotic audio it is essential to do so in as peaceful an environment as possible. You should never listen to the hypnotherapy mp3s whilst driving operating machinery as this would be dangerous. However, at peaceful and appropriate times the hypnosis induction audios are perfectly safe to use. It is not known what level of trance you will go into a trance, but you will remain safe and alerted to anything that needs your immediate attention. There is also a message at the end of the audio that ensures you will be fully and completely wide awake and back to your normal everyday state, except perhaps feeling more refreshed and relaxed than before, with those subtle positive changes beginning to happen, even at a cellular level. I personally like to use my hypnosis audios, in a quite house, whilst laying back in a comfortable chair, but it doesn’t have to be this way. You can be in a trance on a train on your way to work, you can be in a trance when on your lunch break in your office you can even be standing up and in a trance. What really matter is that you are able to concentrate. In fact, someone once told me that there are just 3 skills required to create trance in any human being. Concentration, Imagination and cooperation. So if you know that you possess these skills and you enjoy relaxation, there is a very strong possibility that you will go into a hypnotic trance state and begin to improve your health and wellbeing.
Need Prosperity? Get Peaceful!
It’s pretty obvious that prosperity can promote peacefulness in our lives. When we have enough money, we automatically feel happy, calm, secure and comfortable. Financial lack, on the other hand, brings along unsettling feelings of anxiety, worry, fear, and chaos. However, did you know that you can also use a peaceful mind-set to attract greater prosperity into your life? It’s a simple matter of changing the way you view your financial situation! Here’s how to do it: To develop a truly peaceful state of mind, you’ll need to work at it daily. I recommend setting aside 10 or 15 minutes to start, but you can gradually increase the time if you want to. Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed, and spend a few minutes first relaxing your body and quieting your thoughts. You can also put on some soothing music, light scented candles or incense, or anything else that helps you feel relaxed. Once you feel calm and centered, bring to mind an image of yourself feeling very calm, peaceful and content with your financial situation. There are many ways to envision this scenario, but here are a few ideas to get you started: – See yourself living day to day without any financial concerns. Imagine how you would feel if you had all the money you could ever want, and how that feeling would change the experiences of your life. – See yourself living in a beautiful, big house, driving a brand new car, wearing beautiful clothing, and so on. Imagine how you would feel having plenty of time and money to do the things you really love. – Imagine yourself paying your bills with ease each month. See yourself writing checks with pleasure and confidence, knowing that you have plenty of money to pay for your living expenses and anything else you need or want. The specifics of these visions don’t matter so much as the FEELINGS you experience while you engage with them. Consciously calling up feelings of peacefulness, contentment and happiness in relation to your financial situation will automatically attract greater prosperity into your life! Rather than putting forth an energy signal of panic, worry and lack, you’ll be communicating to the universe that all is well in your financial world, and the universe will nod and make it so. In addition, be sure you place yourself into this type of peaceful state before you do anything relating to your financial situation physically. Be sure not to pay your bills while you’re feeling frustrated or anxious – ONLY while you’re feeling relaxed and happy. The same thing goes for making large purchases or signing a contract. Peace and harmony must precede any kind of financial activity, or else you’re going to attract situations and experiences you don’t want. For best results, you’ll want to do a peacefulness meditation not only before you engage in financial activities, but also several times a day! If you don’t have a lot of time to devote to it, try aiming for 3 five-minute sessions a day. You can do these mini-meditations nearly anywhere; simply close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and call up images of peacefulness and prosperity. The more you do this, the more powerful energy you lend to the creation of exactly that circumstance.
Addiction To Numbness
Linda sat opposite me at one of my five-day Inner Bonding Intensives. She had decided to attend the Intensive because her depression, which had plagued her for years, was not being helped by medication or by the numerous forms of therapy that she had tried. As she sat opposite me, telling me about her past and her depression, I felt like I was sitting with a person who had stuffed herself into a box and closed the door. There was a sense of emptiness and numbness that emanated from her. “Linda,” I asked her. “When did you first feel this numbness that I feel coming from you?” Linda started to cry. “I was 9 years old when my uncle sexually abused me. He and my aunt lived a few blocks from our house. I went to visit my aunt and she wasn’t home but my uncle was, which had never happened before. He told me not to tell anyone but I ran home and told my mom about what he had made me do to him. As traumatic as the sexual abuse was, I was equally traumatized when my mother didn’t believe me and punished me for lying. I felt so devastated and alone. Everything changed for me from that moment on. Before that, I was a happy girl who did well in school. After that, I don’t remember feeling happy and my grades kept going down.” “Linda, there is an incredibly painful feeling that you felt when your uncle abused you and when you mother didn’t believe you and punished you. You were too young to handle this feeling so you did the best thing you could do, which was to shut down and numb out. Our language doesn’t have a good word for this feeling. The closest words we have are heartbreak and intense loneliness.” “Yes,” said Linda. That’s the feeling. I remember how overwhelmed I felt by that feeling. I felt like if I kept feeling it I would die or go crazy, so I shut it down by numbing out.” “Right. But now, as an adult, you can actually handle the feelings of loneliness and heartbreak, yet you are still avoiding them. By avoiding them with numbing out, you are stifling your true Self, your core Self. And so you end up depressed. We will always end up depressed when we put a lid on ourselves to avoid feelings we believe we can’t handle.” “But I still don’t think I can handle those feelings.” “Linda, are you willing to find out if that is true?” “Yes.” “Close your eyes and put your focus into your body. Imagine the 9-year old that you were. Let yourself remember that awful day and let yourself remember what you felt like being abused and then not believed and punished. Imagine that you are an adult holding yourself as a 9-year old, believing her and allowing her to cry while you comfort her. Breathe into the feelings, acknowledging the heartbreak and loneliness, bringing deep love and compassion to your 9-year old.” Linda held a stuffed animal that represented her inner child, holding and rocking her 9-year old for about 5 minutes. “Linda, what is happening with the feelings?” “I am feeling much better, much lighter. I don’t have that numbness right now. And I don’t feel depressed right now!” “So by acknowledging, embracing and moving into compassion for your feelings of heartbreak and loneliness, they moved through you. You CAN manage these feelings. You no longer have to avoid them by numbing out.” Linda had become addicted to numbness as her way of managing her feelings, but once she learned to be with them with compassion, she no longer needed the numbness. I heard from her a couple of months after the Intensive and she was still feeling light and happy, with no sign of depression.
