Indigenous people of many islands and continents are apparently showing better health and skin condition that most of us. That can be because of the fact that the natives have been practicing several ancient and indigenous regimens that are known to help better take care of the body. The Aborigines of Australia are no different. Through the years, many medical practitioners have been monitoring and observing the natives’ lifestyles to find out why they have better health, particularly their skin condition. The secret to their natural skin care lies in emu oil. What is emu oil and what can it do? Emu oil is a special fat deposit that has been used by the Aborigines for thousands of years already to treat and cure several usual ailments and bodily discomfort. Modern studies and analysis of the oil show that it has natural properties that make the skin smoother and more glowing. The oil has essential fatty acids and a good level of vitamin E, which is good for skin care. It is true that there are many other products, modern and old, that are also offering such properties for skin care. But emu oil has the sole advantage of being able to make the nutrients penetrate through the important layers of the skin. Thus, each skin layer would be able to attain and use the benefits of emu oil. The emu oil is a special oil that is derived from a bird called Emu, which is endemic and native to Australia. The emu is an avian animal that is very much similar to the world-popular ostrich. Since time immemorial, the Aborigines have been hunting the birds and raising them domestically to be able to get a good source of emu oil in the future. Emu oil is a natural oil that could not be replicated using synthetic ingredients. The Aborigines initially and originally used the oil to help treat wounds, cuts and bruises. The oil is also often functioning and used as a form of liniment that relieves sore muscles and painful joints. Because the natural nutrients can get right beneath the outer skin layer, some other forms of medications are mixed with it. As a natural skincare regimen, the Aborigines were known to have used emo oil as a form of ointments and skin application that help make the skin smoother, softer and exquisitely healthier. Now, many natural and organic skin care products makers are rushing to develop products based and including emu oil. While others are claiming to have already successfully developed such skin products, there are many more that are working to further integrate emu oil and its benefits to skin care goods. In the future, it would not be surprising if there ever would be more skincare products containing emu oil. Just like the Aborigines, soon people from all across the globe would be able to enjoy products that would significantly help make the skin healthier and more glowing even at the harsh environmental conditions. Emo oil is Australia’s legacy to modern natural and organic skin care.

Tap Yourself Rich?
The Law of Attraction has been getting a lot of attention recently. With the popularity of The Secret (both the book and video), books such as the Abraham books by Esther and Jerry Hicks, as well as the many hundreds of ever-popular classics, such as Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, the idea that you can “create your own reality” has never been more fashionable. There are also skeptics who deny that this is true. They say, “if it was so easy to create your own reality, why are so many people sick, poor and unhappy?” Who would choose such a reality? Even many people who believe in the ideas of positive thinking and the Law of Attraction are secretly afraid that it’s just too good to be true. Well, my understanding is that the Law of Attraction is 100% true. There is only one catch, and it can be a zinger for those of us trying to apply this principle in our lives. The problem is that most of us have subconscious blocks to our efforts at creating prosperity consciousness and better lives in general. The fact is, we consciously want all the good things in life, which is perfectly natural. Yet a part of us, often there since childhood, is convinced that we are not deserving, that money is scarce, that it’s not moral to be wealthy or some other such belief that is not consistent with actually manifesting abundance. There is a simple technique that allows us to almost instantly remove blocks. It is called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and is based on the Chinese system of acupuncture (no needles though!) combined with modern psychology. It is so simple in fact, that many people are skeptical that it can really work –until they try it. EFT works by having us tap various points on our body. This sends energy through the meridians (pathways that energy follows through the body). Tapping is combined with certain dialogue, which can be spoken out loud or too oneself. These are something like affirmations, but more sophisticated in that they are not only positive statements, but a removal of negative beliefs. This “tapping” technique has been effective at treating a wide range of physical and emotional problems. One practitioner, Brad Yates, has specialized in using EFT for removing blocks to abundance. By tapping on certain points and repeating key phrases, we quickly come to believe that we truly deserve to be prosperous. People have even reported having long term health conditions drastically improve after a few tapping sessions. This may seem miraculous, but when you consider recent medical evidence that much illness is caused by stress and other emotional conditions, it is not really so farfetched. If we can change the way energy moves through our bodies, we can change many conditions, both emotional and physical. This “trickery,” however, is an important part of the healing process, whether you are talking about a healing mantra or a pharmaceutical drug. Belief is a very important part of healing –or not healing. This is why almost any method, if truly believed in, can be helpful. With EFT, however, we are talking about something beyond simple belief. When you tap, you are actually stimulating very real energy centers in the body. What’s interesting is that I’ve read cases of advanced EFT practitioners who could get the same effect by simply imagining that they were doing the technique! To a die-hard skeptic, this might suggest that EFT is “all in the mind” and therefore not “scientific.” To me, it just proves how important the mind is in the healing process. That is why EFT can be such a powerful technique. When combined with affirmations and other helpful self-talk, it works on the physical and psychological aspects of ourselves simultaneously. I believe that the effectiveness of EFT, along with almost all techniques, whether medical, psychological or spiritual, is partly based on what is sometimes deceptively called the “placebo effect.” This means, simply, that the mind “fools” itself, and/or the body that it feels better because of a belief. Is this technique too easy and simple to really work? Well, that point of view is itself the kind of limiting belief you can literally tap away!
Age New Spirituality – Inspirational Stories ( Part 88 )
Similarly, we find in regard to ourselves that our tendencies are the result of past conscious actions. A child is born with certain tendencies. Whence do they come? No child is born with a tabula rasa — with a clean, blank page — of a mind. The page has been written on previously. The old Greek and Egyptian philosophers taught that no child came with a vacant mind. Each child comes with a hundred tendencies generated by past conscious actions. It did not acquire these in this life, and we are bound to admit that it must have had them in past lives. The rankest materialist has to admit that these tendencies are the result of past actions, only they add that these tendencies come through heredity. Our parents, grandparents, and great – grandparents come down to us through this law of heredity. Now if heredity alone explains this, there is no necessity of believing in the soul at all, because body explains everything. We need not go into the different arguments and discussions on materialism and spiritualism. So far the way is clear for those who believe in an individual soul. We see that to come to a reasonable conclusion we must admit that we have had past lives. This is the belief of the great philosophers and sages of the past and of modern times. Such a doctrine was believed in among the Jews. Jesus Christ believed in it. He says in the Bible, “Before Abraham was, I am.” And in another place it is said, “This is Elias who is said to have come.” All the different religions which grew among different nations under varying circumstances and conditions had their origin in Asia, and the Asiatics understand them well. When they came out from the motherland, they got mixed up with errors. The most profound and noble ideas of Christianity were never understood in Europe, because the ideas and images used by the writers of the Bible were foreign to it.Take for illustration the pictures of the Madonna. Every artist paints his Madonna according to his own pre-conceived ideas. To get more information visit : http://www.spiritual-simplicity.com
You Can Adjust Your Sails Despite The Winds In Your Life
There are a lot of people who will try to make you believe that you can be in total control of your life. Many of these seemingly well-adjusted perfectionists seem to glide through life untouched by human tragedy in their own lives. Unfortunately their time for cruelty comes sooner or later, and when it does it hits them hard because they didn’t believe it could happen to them. The truth is we are not in control of most of our lives. For example: We can’t choose which families we are born into; we don’t choose where we will live as children; we don’t choose our own D.N.A. pattern; thus we can not change how susceptible to certain diseases we may be; and we can not control what outside negative forces we will face in our lifetime. We can not control the sex of our baby. Nor can we control their lives with many of the same factors. Life is hard but take courage because just as we can not control many of those outside influences, we can control how we respond to them. This is what is meant in that famous saying: “We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails.” The unknown author is trying to tell us that we may not be able to control what happens to us, but we sure can control the way we handle it. I have learned this lesson first hand as I developed a disease called peripheral neuropathy about 7 years ago and my life has changed considerably. I can no longer walk without being in pain. I can not play any kind of sports, I can not play my guitar any more and I have been reduced to a man who stays home everyday unable to work any longer. My eyes are going so the reading has become real difficult. My hearing has gotten much worse; I can not hear the simple chirping of birds or the bark of a neighborhood dog. There is much I miss. But I am able to still write so that is what I do with my time. I am encouraged by the quote mentioned here because although I may not be able to stop negative forces from affecting my life, I sure can change the affect it may have on me. I could give up and stay in bed all day, or I can contribute to life somehow. When something bad happens to us, we have a tendency to want to give up. But many choose to make the orange juice out of the orange. I believe I have become more empowered since my disease onset. I choose to stay in control of the areas of life I can control. For example, I could get mad as all get out and be nasty to the people around me. I confess there was a period when I did not handle it well. But now I am a more patient person, and more of a listener. I have improved in a lot of ways, more than time allows mentioning here. I create joy in my life despite my circumstances. I look for the good in others and I do not judge them as severely as I used to. All of this is a good by product of what is a nasty thing that happened to me. I want to encourage you to know that you too can adjust the sails of your life; mostly your attitude. You may not be able to control the winds of misfortune in your life but remember you can adjust your sails by adopting a new attitude. In doing so you will become empowered.
New Age Spirituality – Inspirational Stories ( Part 28 )
If we remember this always, we shall never be attached to nature; we shall know that nature is a book in which we are to read, and that when we have gained the required knowledge, the book is of no more value to us. Instead of that, however, we are identifying ourselves with nature; we are thinking that the soul is for nature, that the spirit is for the flesh, and, as the common saying has it, we think that man “lives to eat” and not “eats to live”. We are continually making this mistake; we are regarding nature as ourselves and are becoming attached to it; and as soon as this attachment comes, there is the deep impression on the soul, which binds us down and makes us work not from freedom but like slaves. The whole gist of this teaching is that you should work like a master and not as a slave; work incessantly, but do not do slave’s work. Do you not see how everybody works? Nobody can be altogether at rest; ninety – nine per cent of mankind work like slaves, and the result is misery; it is all selfish work. Work through freedom! Work through love! The word “love” is very difficult to understand; love never comes until there is freedom. There is no true love possible in the slave. If you buy a slave and tie him down in chains and make him work for you, he will work like a drudge, but there will be no love in him. So when we ourselves work for the things of the world as slaves, there can be no love in us, and our work is not true work. This is true of work done for relatives and friends, and is true of work done for our own selves. Selfish work is slave’s work; and here is a test. Every act of love brings happiness; there is no act of love which does not bring peace and blessedness as its reaction. Real existence, real knowledge, and real love are eternally connected with one another, the three in one: where one of them is, the others also must be; they are the three aspects of the One without a second — the Existence-Knowledge-Bliss.
